Order Policies

Measurements & Accuracy

• All measurements are taken carefully at the customer’s location.

• Customers must ensure access to all windows at the time of measurement.

• Any changes to window structure (drywall, trim, tile, molding, etc.) after measurement may require re-measurement and additional charges.

• We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect measurements if measurements are provided by the customer.

Custom Orders & Cancellations

• All blinds and shades are custom-made to order.

• Once an order is confirmed and production begins, orders cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded.

• Any modifications requested after confirmation may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

Deposits & Payments

• A deposit (typically 50% or as agreed) is required to place an order.

• The remaining balance is due before or at the time of installation.

• Accepted payment methods will be clearly communicated at the time of order.

• Late payments may delay installation.

Lead Time & Delivery

• Estimated production and delivery timelines will be provided at the time of order.

• Lead times may vary due to manufacturer schedules, supply chain delays, or unforeseen circumstances. 

• Delays caused by manufacturers or shipping carriers are beyond our control.

Installation Policy

• Installation appointments will be scheduled once products arrive.

• The installation area must be clear and accessible on the scheduled day.

• Additional charges may apply if:

• Furniture needs to be moved

• Installation conditions are unsafe

• Additional labor or materials are required

• Missed or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a service fee.

Product Inspection

• Customers are encouraged to inspect products immediately after installation.

• Any visible issues must be reported within 48 hours of installation.

• Issues reported after this period may not be eligible for adjustments.

Warranty

-      Standard 3 Year Warranty 

  •  We extend the following warranty to the original purchaser of custom window treatments.
  • Operating mechanisms (including cords), and other parts are covered for 3 years from date of delivery.

Proof of purchase is required.

-       Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural variations in texture, construction or color of natural products, slight warping of wood products, and natural color changes to materials that take place over time.
  • Product failure due to any of the following:
  • Improper installation, operation, or cleaning.
  • Normal wear and tear as a result of time and repetitive daily habits. Examples of normal wear and tear include faded blinds/shades from continued exposure to the sun or a frayed pull string that has worn out through normal use.
  • Excessive exposure to heat, sunlight, or moisture.
  • Damage from children, pets, or insects.
  • Improper cleaning.
  • Alteration of any kind.

Resolution of Warranty Issues

  • Repair or Replace: We will determine, at our discretion, whether the product will be repaired or replaced.
  • Product Discontinuation: If a product replacement is needed for a discontinued product still under warranty, we will provide a substitute product that matches as closely as possible. In the event that there are multiple products in the same room, only the defective product will be repaired or replaced. Every effort will be made to match the original specifications.
  • Shipping Costs: After a 1 year period, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with warranty repair.
  • After Warranty Expiration: Unfortunately, once your warranty has expired, we will not be able to replace or repair your original window covering. However, we will be happy to help you purchase a new product that meets your needs.

Motorized & Smart Blinds

• Motorized blinds may occasionally experience connectivity or signal issues due to Wi-Fi, remotes, or schedules.

• Retrying the command usually resolves the issue.

• We are not responsible for third-party app updates, network changes, or smart home compatibility issues.


Fittings

For custom blinds we automatically reduce the size slightly during production so the blinds fit smoothly inside the window frame without rubbing or binding. This typical range is ¼″ to ½″ on each side. 

Returns & Refunds

• Due to the custom nature of our products, returns and refunds are not accepted.

• In case of manufacturer defects, we will assist in repair or replacement as per warranty terms.

Liability

• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to walls, frames, or surfaces.

• Minor marks from drilling are considered normal during installation.

• Any special wall conditions (tile, concrete, metal studs, etc.) must be disclosed in advance.

Product Discontinuation

If a replacement is required for a discontinued product still under warranty, we will provide a substitute that closely matches the original. If multiple products are present in the same room, only the defective product will be repaired or replaced. We will make every effort to match the original specifications.

Changes and Cancellations

  • Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications, they are not suitable for resale in the ordinary course of business. Therefore, it is important that you are sure of your decisions before you finalize your purchase. We are happy to change or cancel orders as long as you contact us within 24 hours from the date and time the order was submitted to us.
  • Since production typically starts the morning after the order is placed, cancellations and changes can only be made for a period of 24 calendar hours after your order is finalized.
  • Under no circumstance can we either refund any money or issue any credits for a purchase if the cancellation or change occurs at any time beyond this 24 calendar hour period.
  • On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of a known delay and a manufacturer notifies us, you will be contacted that day.
  • We reserve the right to reject any order, at our discretion.

Customer Approval

By approving the quote and making a deposit, the customer agrees to all policies listed above.
